Pride @ the KHCC

• Exhibition: A Rainbow of Artifacts

  Date: May 26 to August 1

  In celebration of PRIDE season, the King Heritage & Cultural Centre (KHCC) is pleased to present A Rainbow of Artifacts, a micro-exhibition that highlights some of the most colourful pieces in our collection and mirrors the colours in the Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride Flag. 

• Art Exhibition: Gerald Wayne McLeod

  Date: June 17 to July 11

  The King Heritage & Cultural Centre is pleased to welcome a limited‑engagement exhibition of mixed-media artwork by Indigenous artist-educator Gerald Wayne McLeod. Visitors may be familiar with Gerald’s art from Today We Slay, an art exhibition at the KHCC for Pride 2025.

• Art Exhibition: Variations in the Landscape by Ben Benedict

  Date: July 15 to 25

  The King Heritage & Cultural Centre is pleased to welcome Variations in Landscape, a limited engagement exhibition of mixed-media artwork by London Ontario fine artist Ben Benedict. Visitors may be familiar with Ben’s work from Today We Slay, an art exhibition at the KHCC for Pride 2025. www.benbenedict.ca

• Nights at the Museum: Create with Pride

  Date: Thursday, June 18

  Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

  “Create with PRIDE” invites youth ages 12–16 to get creative and express themselves through hands‑on art activities. Participants will learn to make zines, beaded friendship bracelets, and custom buttons inspired by themes of acceptance, love, and Pride. The program provided a welcoming, inclusive space for young people to explore creativity, share ideas, and celebrate self‑expression. Parents/Guardians are welcome to stay and enjoy coffee and snacks.

  Cost: $10 per participant, includes activity materials.
