The King Heritage & Cultural Centre is pleased to announce its 5th annual exhibition in recognition of International Women's Day with the theme In Her Own Time.
The passage of time is an ever-present force in women’s lives, marking growth, transformation, and the stages of life. From the phases of the moon and the changing seasons to personal milestones and aging, time moves forward —shaping experience and identity. Artists were invited to interpret the concept of time and reflect on its impact in their own lives through visual art and accompanying statements.
Our largest IWD art exhibition to date will feature the work of 48 emerging and established women artists from King Township, the GTA and beyond.
