King Township’s Cold Creek Maple Syrup Fest promises a day ‘stacked’ with sweet memories—and pancakes! This family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, Mar. 14 10:00am – 2:00pm at the scenic Cold Creek Conservation Area, located at 14125 11th Concession in Nobleton. Get ready to indulge in a day filled with sweetness, laughter and family fun.
The day's festivities include:
- A scrumptious pancake breakfast
- Guided hikes through the sugar bush, with tree tapping demonstrations
- Face painting
- Craft area with My Art Spot
- Strolling magic show
- Visit the King Heritage & Cultural Centre display to learn more about maple syrup production and complete a fun activity sheet!
Weather permitting, try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing over 7 kilometres of marked, wintry trails or grab your skates and head to the new ‘backyard’ rink at the picnic shelter (max 25 skaters at a time). Snowshoe, ski and pole rentals are included in the event ticket cost and can be borrowed from the chalet
