Reflections of Ourselves Exhibition

Curated by artist Tracey Lawko, Reflections of Ourselves is a collaborative art project that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Canadians.

Through the metaphor of a tree, the exhibition presents stories and traditions by members of cultural groups residing across Canada and suggests that the differences among us are like the variations in individual leaves on a tree. To-date 115 Indigenous, settler and immigrant Canadians from coast to coast have handcrafted a leaf in honour of their heritage, primarily in textile.

On display from January 11 to March 1, 2025 - Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm - included with regular admission.

An opening reception will be held on January 11 from 1-3 pm with remarks by Tracey Lawko. RSVP preferred - 905-833-2331 or kingmuseum@king.ca
