Indigenous Mural & Medicine Garden Grand Reveal

Join us in community on June 14th at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre to officially open our Indigenous Truth & Reconciliation Mural and Indigenous Medicine Garden.

Highlights:

  • June 14, 2025, 11am-1pm
  • Celebrate Indigenous community with Drummer Rollin Baldhead, speakers and medicine women Tanya Gluvakov and Asha Frost, and meet the mural artist Shawn Howe
  • Contribute to the Garden: plant soil & design your own garden stone to add to the Garden
  • Tour the Garden & Mural
  • Free Admission: Food & Refreshments included
  • Outdoor Event: Rain or Shine!
  • Free shuttle service: multiple free parking options available (See Below for Details)

Note: Parking at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre is limited. Overflow parking will be diverted to the Township of King Municipal Office located less than 1 minute down the road at 2585 King Rd., King City. A free YRT shuttle service will be provided to drive directly between the two sites.
