Good food, great company! Pack your appetite and bring your family, friends and neighbours to the King Community BBQ on Thursday, Aug. 20 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre. 

Purchase BBQ favourites (hamburgers and sausages) prepared by the King City Lions Club and treat yourself to a sweet treat from the on-site ice cream truck!

Enjoy family-friendly activities:

  • Lawn games 
  • Bubble station 
  • Colouring, crafts and sidewalk chalk art 
  • Storytelling corner featuring local legends 
  • Scavenger hunt on the grounds 
  • Heritage-themed photo booth with costumes and props 
  • Guided tours of Laskay Hall, the King Railway Station and King Christian Church 
  • Lessons from Kahéhta, the Indigenous Medicine Garden 
  •  Heritage exhibits, historic maps and photographs from the Township archives
