Join Métis artist Kathy Morgan for a hands-on beading workshop where art meets storytelling. Learn traditional Métis beading techniques passed down through generations, and create your own beaded poppy in honour of Indigenous Veterans Day and Remembrance Day — or design a flower of your choice.
Kathy, a proud member of the Métis Nation of Ontario, is known for her beadwork in York Region. Taught by her grandmother, she now shares her cultural knowledge as a Métis Cultural Presenter and instructor.
